Born and raised in New Jersey and New York, Linda Bryer grew up with advertising, marketing, and public relations in her blood. After graduating with a BA degree in English and Drama in New Jersey and attending graduate studies in Advertising and Promotion at New York University, she literally cut her advertising/public relations teeth on Madison Avenue where she "learned the ropes" early on. Today, nearly two decades later, she is still calling upon and adding to that knowledge. Linda moved to California to enjoy the fresh air, to be able to smile at people in the street, and to enjoy the freedom to turn right on red.

Linda is a rare combination of brains, personality, energy and warmth. She's got real talent in making people laugh, remembering their specific preferences (for just about everything, from coffee-no-cream to a Lucida typeface), and creating unique and memorable presentations (such as the press conference in which she invited the audience to create a jingle and then sang it!). Once you meet her, you'll not soon forget her. Most publishers and writers don't either. That's what makes her so successful as a Public Relations specialist.

Linda's client list runs the gamut, ranging from small mom-and-pop businesses, to mid-size companies, to large corporations. She has kept her small agency very active in promoting a wide variety of firms -- local, regional, national and international -- who are all concerned, in one way or another, with health. Her agency has had a concentration in the field of natural health -- vitamins, herbs, specialty nutrients, fitness, organic foods and the like -- which has given her a profound understanding of getting the message out to the single largest consumer group in the nation's history: Baby Boomers.

Over the years, Linda has worked for many local companies, including Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting Company, Cabrillo College Theater, Tin Pan Alley musical concert series, Serious Skin Care, local artist Jay Wright, local actor Ralph Peduto, and the Santa Cruz Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Linda has won awards for her copywriting and is a vocalist who has performed jingles and voiceovers that she's written for radio and television commercials.

Her resume tells the rest of the story: she has has extensive experience promoting each company's message by creating long-lasting relationships with the relevant media. To that end, just this month, Linda held a press conference in Santa Cruz (at the Crow's Nest restaurant) as a volunteer for the Santa Cruz Cancer Benefit Group, where she once again got to connect with all of the major local media: newspapers, magazines, radio stations and TV folks, too. She continues to do her charity work, most recently for a commemorative coin:
